Ο Βαλάντης, aka Electric Looser, ζει ακούγοντας μουσική, ζει αγναντεύοντας εξώφυλλα άλμπουμ, ζει για να παίζει μουσική – DJ σετ – σε άλλους. Τον λες και κάτι σαν κινούμενο juke box. Ο Βαλάντης πέρασε και αυτή τη δεκαετία πάνω-κάτω όπως πέρασε και την προηγούμενη. Δίπλα σε στερεοφωνικό ψάχνοντας να ανακαλύψει αγνώστους και γνωστούς καλλιτέχνες που είχαν κάτι να του πουν, να αλιεύσει τραγούδια διαμάντια που άκουσαν λίγοι αλλά άξιζαν ν’ ακούσουν περισσότεροι, να ανακαλύψει ιστορίες μουσικών.
Ο Electric Looser μάς παρουσιάζει τα καλύτερα άλμπουμ της εικοσαετίας που μόλις έφυγε. Και όπως μας γράφει ο ίδιος: «Στη λίστα δεν έχω βάλει Dylan, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Portishead, Bowie, Cohen, Springsteen, Prince, Patti Smith, Pj Harvey κτλ. αλλά μπάντες – καλλιτέχνες που εμφανιστήκαν για πρώτη φορά μέσα σ αυτά τα 20 χρόνια. Με τον * (αστερίσκο) είναι μπάντες και καλλιτέχνες που ενώ έγραψαν κάποια ή κάποιο album στα 90’s απογειώθηκαν από τα 00’s και με την – (παύλα) είναι καλλιτέχνες που ηχογράφησαν ένα album και εξαφανίστηκαν.»
